The year 2015 marks a decade since DHET was founded. In this time, we have provided vintage air experience opportunities for some of the younger generation, we have enabled a number of fledgling pilots to convert onto flying vintage Tiger Moths and we have also provided opportunities for vintage engineering skills to be passed on to some budding aircraft restorers.

We are taking the opportunity during this anniversary to reflect on our achievements as a small Charitable Trust and to look at how we wish to shape ourselves as we move into our next decade. We have normally launched our bursary application process during the latter part of each year, although at present this process is on hold pending the outcome of this current review.

We look forward to relaunching a new and exciting programme of vintage aircraft training and education opportunities in 2016 and we will provide more information in due course.
